SELENIUM
An ongoing project.
The slight greenish/yellow hues and the softness to the overall tonality that Selenium toning adds to an image I find very appealing, especially images shot at the coast where it softens the harshness of the light.
Using a digital programme called Negative Lab Pro to process my film images digitally I found that there was a selenium toning option included that allowed me to add this finish to my images prior to printing. Utilising this in combination with unbleached recycled paper has allowed me to produce a series of images and prints that capture a look and feel I have been trying to create for many years.
This is a work in progress project currently however, I do plan to release a short print run book/zine and limited edition prints in the very near future.
