December 2018 I was tasked with shooting a collection of images for Fidra Gin. Emma & Jo wanted images that reflected the drama and the beauty of the East Lothian coast where most of the botanicals which go into making their gin are harvested from. The East Lothian coastline is rich in photographic opportunities and so sourcing out locations wasn’t too difficult, waiting for the notorious winter Scottish weather to play ball was a different matter. I also had the opportunity to shoot some white background studio images which really showcased the beauty of the bottle designs.
Recently I styled and shot a series of aspirational product images for Julie’s Jams, a maker of delicious jams and chutneys based in North Berwick. I look forward to working with Julie again in the near future photographing some of her newest creations.
Steampunk Coffee Roasters
Where do I begin with Steampunk? I’ve had the pleasure of working with this amazing company on many projects over the last 3 years. From flat lay & product photography, staff portraits, location shoots, a book and even a month long intimate portrait collection capturing some of the patrons who frequent their Warehouse roastery and cafe. I’ve had the opportunity to cover all the bases with these guys!
Food Styling & Photography
I’ve had the great pleasure of working with some fantastic local businesses styling and shooting images for them but I also like to shoot my own food images as a passion project.
Mad March Hare
In the Autumn of 2018 I was given the opportunity to photograph two of Mad March Hare’s sublime outdoor long table dining events.
